Inverness Self Catering Apartment – City Centre Accommodation

The Scottish Government allows self-catering premises to open again from 3rd July 2020. We are now able to re-open our booking calendar and welcome you once more.

Protecting Everyone

To help keep everyone safe, we have put extra measures in place, including a longer period between bookings to allow time for additional thorough sanitising procedures.  We are now Visit Scotland Good to Go certified, so you can be confident that government health guidance is being followed.

Welcome to our 98 Church Street Apartment.

This comfortable  Inverness self catering apartment is ideal for your holiday or business stay in the Highlands.

In the heart of the city centre, the apartment is within very  easy walking distance of bus and rail links, and a short bus trip from the airport.

The Castle and Viewing Tower,  Inverness Museum, River Ness, St Andrew’s Cathedral and Eden Court Theatre and Cinema are just a short walk from the apartment.  In addition, Loch Ness is only a few miles away, as is Culloden Battlefield.  There are many tours with departure points five minutes away, and Inverness is an excellent base for exploring the Highlands

Visitors to the University of the Highlands and Islands, (UHI), or Raigmore Hospital on the outskirts of the city, just have a short drive, or bus ride to get there.

Everyone will appreciate the great selection of restaurants, bars and venues to choose from, with the bonus of only a few minutes walk back to the apartment at the end of the evening!

Area around the apartment

The apartment is in a conservation area and amidst a very old part of the city. It is next to Dunbar’s hospital, built in 1668 as an almshouse for the poor. In addition, opposite the apartment is the Old High Church. Part of this was built in the 14th century, and there has been a church on the site since Celtic times. Many historians believe that this was the site where St. Columba preached, after converting Brude, King of the Picts, to Christianity. Also, one of the earliest sightings of the Loch Ness monster was made by St. Columba as he travelled through the loch on his way to Inverness.

Take a look at Explore  to see what attractions are available in the area around the apartment and further afield.

If you are looking for an Inverness self catering apartment, you will find this apartment is in an ideal situation. It’s a few minutes away from bus and train stations, shopping centre, cafes, restaurants and bars. Be sure to try the lovely ice cream shop next door, too!
